Day 1: Australia/Singapore/Phnom Penh
Board Singapore Airlines flight to Phnom Penh via Singapore. On arrival, transfer to hotel for 2 nights.
Day 2: Phnom Penh
Today we tour the capital city of Cambodia, including stops at the Royal Palace & Silver Pagoda, the Central & Russian Markets and Wat Phnom. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Phnom Penh/Siem Reap
After breakfast, departure transfer to board domestic flight to Siem Reap. On arrival, transfer to hotel for 3 nights. This afternoon we visit some highlights on the ‘little circuit’ and enjoy sunset views over Angkor Wat. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Siem Reap/Angkor
Today we enjoy sunrise views over Angkor Wat before visiting Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre. After lunch, we tour Angkor Wat. Evening dinner & classical dance show. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Siem Reap/Angkor
Today we visit some of the outstanding sites in the fortified city of Angkor Thom including the Victory Gate, Bayon, Baphuon and the Terrace of Elephants. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Siem Reap/HCMC (Vietnam)
Morning at leisure. Departure transfer to board flight to Ho Chi Minh City (also known as Saigon). On arrival our National Escort will greet us and transfer us to our hotel for 2 nights.
Day 7: Cu Chi Tunnels
This morning we explore Ho Chi Minh City visiting the Reunification Hall and the main attractions along the Nguyen Hue Boulevard. After lunch we visit the famous Cu Chi tunnels. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8: HCMC/Mekong Delta
Today we leave HCMC for Cantho where we experience life on the mighty Mekong River. Overnight at hotel for 1 night.
Day 9: Mekong Delta/HCMC
After breakfast we board a tour boat at Mytho, visiting the bustling Cai Rang floating market. After lunch, return to HCMC via the Dong Tam Snake Farm. Overnight at hotel in HCMC.
Day 10: HCMC/Dalat
Today we drive to Dalat hill station with sightseeing stops at Langa fish farm & Bao Loc Mountain Pass. Check in to hotel for 2 nights. Evening at leisure.
Day 11: Dalat
Today we explore Emperor Bao Dai’s Summer Palace, the vibrant Dalat market, Xuan Huong Lake, Thuyen Lam Lake & Truc Lam Pagoda. Dinner and overnight in Dalat.
Day 12: Dalat/Nha Trang
Today we proceed to Nha Trang, a popular beach destination. We explore islands around Nha Trang by boat and visit a local fishing village on foot. Overnight at hotel.
Day 13: Nha Trang/Hoi An
After breakfast, transfer to the domestic airport for flight to Danang. Drive to Hoi An and check into hotel for 3 nights. Hoi An is a beautiful historic town brimming with shops, galleries and temples. Overnight at hotel.
Day 14: Hoi An
After breakfast, we visit the Japanese Covered Bridge and ancient Chinese and Japanese merchant houses. This evening you are welcome to join a cooking class. Overnight at hotel.
Day 15: Hoi An
Day at leisure to explore, shop or relax. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants. Overnight at hotel.
Day 16: Hoi An/Hue
After breakfast, drive to the imperial city of Hue with en route sightseeing at Cham Museum. On arrival in Hue, check in to hotel for 1 night. After lunch we visit the Citadel and Dong Khanh Mausoleum. Overnight at hotel.
Day 17: Hue/ Hanoi
After breakfast, we cruise the Perfume River, stopping at Thien Mu Pagoda and Emperor Minh Mang’s tomb. Afternoon transfer to the airport to board flight to Hanoi. Evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 18: Hanoi/Ninh Binh/Hanoi
After breakfast we drive to Ninh Binh to discover an inland version of Halong Bay! At Hua Lu, we visit Dinh King and Le King temples. After lunch, we board row boats to tour a cave complex. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 19: Hanoi
Today we visit Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum and stilt house, the One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature. We also tour the Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. We end the day with a cyclo (rickshaw) ride. Overnight at hotel.
Day 20: Hanoi/Halong Bay
After breakfast, transfer to Halong Bay where we board our tour boat. Feast on a seafood lunch while meandering amongst the magnificent limestone pinnacles jutting from the bay. Overnight on boat.
Day 21: Halong Bay/Hanoi
After lunch we disembark and drive back to Hanoi. This evening enjoy the antics of Vietnamese water puppets before transferring to the train station to board overnight train to Sapa, the tribal land of Vietnam. Overnight train soft sleeper.
Day 22: Hanoi/Sapa
On arrival at Lao Cai train station, transfer to Sapa and check into hotel for 2 nights. Today we explore the local market and Sapa Cathedral. Overnight at hotel.
Day 23: Sapa
This morning, we visit the surrounding villages of the Black H’Mong people. Afternoon free to explore or shop. Overnight at hotel.
Day 24: Sapa/Hanoi
Morning at leisure. After lunch, transfer to Lao Cai railway station and board overnight train to Hanoi. Overnight train soft sleeper.
Day 25: Hanoi
On arrival we visit Hanoi’s night flower market, Tran Quoc Pagoda and Thanh Nien Road. After lunch we tour Hanoi’s Old Quarter on foot before enjoying a farewell dinner. Overnight at hotel.
Day 26-27: Hanoi/Australia
After breakfast, departure transfer to the airport to board flight to Australia via Singapore. Arrive home the following day.
